Your Home is at risk if you do not keep up any mortgage or payments secured upon it!
You should remember that past performance is not necessarily a guide to the future. Market and currency movements may cause the value of units, and the value derived from them, to fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invested when you decide to sell your units. The tax treatment of investments and pensions is not guaranteed and may change in the future.
SELF INVESTED PERSONAL PENSIONS (S.I.P.P.)
A Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), is simply a personal pension that allows you to invest in a wide range of investments such as Equities, Property, Fixed Interest and Cash without the need to use a traditional Life office.
This freedom means that you are able to choose from all the available permitted investments in the market place rather than the restricted choice usually on offer. Your investment options include investing directly in property or equities.
Apart from your investment options, with a SIPP you can defer taking buying a traditional annuity at retirement and simply withdraw an income from the fund. It can be converted to a “Flexi Access Drawdown which has valuable benefits for dependents.
